Summer Bounty

Wisconsin's summer bounty has arrived. The limited selection of produce we had in June has turned into a cornucopia of vegetables in July. The biggest excitement is the start of sweet corn season. Our daily produce stand (open 10 AM - 5:30 PM) on the corner of Oshkosh and Stanton Streets will be open starting Tuesday, July 22. There, you will find sweet corn, green beans, cucumbers, zucchini, green peppers, red and yellow onions, broccoli, cauliflower, and cabbage. We will even have a limited selection of Black Angus beef products available. Remember, everything there is grown right here on the farm—no buying and selling—we are a producer-only farm stand!
Tomatoes will be making their debut in approximately two weeks. Please remember us for your canning needs; we will have large quantities of romas, rounds, and heirloom tomatoes. If you are a salsa maker, we also have large quantities of jalapeños, onions, and green (red in the fall) peppers.
We are so thankful that, for the most part, the excessive rain did not seem to harm the crops. Fingers crossed that the weather remains benevolent and we can continue to bring our fantastic customers wonderful and nutritious things to eat.
