July Update

The Harvest Keeps Growing

Summer has officially settled in here at Green Barn Farm Market, and with every passing week the fields continue to reward us with something new. It's one of our favorite times of the year as the harvest transitions from the early-season favorites into the abundance that makes summer so special.
Right now, our markets are filled with fresh-picked broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, green beans, zucchini, and beautiful calla lilies. If you've been enjoying our spinach, gourmet lettuce mix, arugula, or sugar snap peas, now is the perfect time to stock up. Those crops have served us well this season, but they'll soon be making way for everything that's still to come.
And there is plenty to look forward to.
Our sweet corn is growing taller every day and looking fantastic. Green peppers, cucumbers, and onions aren't far behind, with the first harvests expected as the season continues. Before long, our Roma tomatoes will begin to ripen, adding another summer favorite to our market tables.
One of the things we love most about farming is that no two seasons are ever exactly alike. Every field, every rainfall, and every stretch of sunshine helps shape the harvest. While Mother Nature always has the final say, we're incredibly excited about how everything is coming along and can't wait to share it with you.
