Asparagus Season Is Here!We’re excited to officially welcome everyone back for another asparagus season at Green Barn Farm Market!
Our home farm store is once again open for the season, and fresh asparagus is now being harvested from the fields. There’s always something special about the first harvest(s) of the year—it’s a sure sign that spring has finally arrived in Wisconsin. Along with opening the farm store, we’re also getting back on the road for another season of farmers' markets. You’ll be able to find us at the same markets you know and love, stocked with fresh asparagus and plenty more farm-grown goodness as the season progresses. Be sure to keep an eye out for us at the markets this spring, summer, and into fall! You can find a full list of where we’ll be located on our farmers market locations page. Farm Store Hours: Monday – Saturday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Asparagus season is always one of our favorite times of the year. After a long Wisconsin winter, it feels good to be back in the fields, seeing familiar faces again, and kicking off another growing season. The strawberries are looking strong, the spring greens are growing nicely, and many of the summer crops are officially planted and underway. There’s still plenty of work ahead, but spring has finally arrived on the farm. As always, thank you for supporting local agriculture and our family farm.
