July Update

The Height of Summer Veggies

The long, hot days and barely-in-time rains have led to an abundance of vegetables on the farm! The long-awaited sweet corn season has finally arrived, and it looks and tastes great. Make sure to get some at one of our many locations. We have seen the first vine-ripened tomatoes and onions. Green and jalapeno peppers have also arrived - salsa season is upon us!
Although we needed to say goodbye to the lettuce, spinach, and arugula season, we are excited for all the summertime favorites. Currently, we have broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, cucumbers, zucchini, onions, tomatoes, sweet corn, and the cantaloupe is not far behind. Our corn stand in Ripon, on the corner of Stanton and Oshkosh Street, is open daily from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM, where you can find all of these treasures. We will be stocking our meat products at the Ripon stand daily, beginning in a few days. Although we will be out of steaks until mid-September, we will still have burgers, roasts, stew meat, and soup bones.
